Today’s job is an installation of the new HIK Vision Intercom Doorbell, complete with internal touch screen.

Powered by POE (Power over Ethernet) or 12v Power adaptors. This doorbell has the ability to be either connected by WiFi or hard wired. It can also be used to remotely unlock a door.

It’s been a busy week! To finish off we visited a client in Royal Sutton Coldfield. They had an Intercom/ Gate Control System fitted 18 Months ago by a different installer. The system stopped working 3 weeks ago so they contacted the installer, who came out and told them it would cost £800 to fix, then charged them £80 for a callout.

Jellybean Technology were recommended to them and we visited today. We found that the original equipment had been incorrectly installed. Water had damaged the internal components of the system due to the battery cover not being installed, and no gasket fitted.

We have sourced a new gate intercom and will be installing next week for a fraction of the cost that they have been quoted.

4K CCTV System. Installed today on an outside office, our client wanted the best resolution possible. We installed the very latest HIK Vision 4K IP NVR & Cameras. They can now monitor their property with the Remote Viewing Application while they are on holiday or away from home. We also made sure they had all relevant signage on the property.
